August 10-16: Art Swap in a Box
The Art Swap Shanty debuted in January, 2010, as part of the Art Shanty Projects on Medicine Lake outside of Minneapolis, MN. Our shanty consisted of a tiny shack with a giant hat, complete with a giant pom. Underneath the hat, 799 people arrived with their Art, leaving it behind in our gallery and taking someone else's art home. All the swaps are documented at iceartswap.com. It's clear from people's faces that Swapping Art Improves Lives!
This summer the Pom heads to Mpls where it will amuse you as you join us on Lyndale Avenue to swap your art for someone elses's! This swap will be slightly different from the ice swap, and will culminate in a Swap Gala, a grand reception under the Pom.

Saturday, 11 am - 5pm: Art Swap
Saturday, 8 - 11pm: SWAP GALA!
